Bogart's Adsense Story

Bogart, A friend of mine for a long time. I just call him bogart. Because we have some similarities when it comes to earning online. I just told him how adsense thrilled my life here on the internet when I personally learned from a friend that he just got his adsense income via Western Union worth P5,000. This moment forced me to seriously do the adsense things. Then I told Bogart this story. I never knew that he would be serious and get excited...right now his earnings exceeded my earnings but I'm glad that I have helped him. His blog http://bogartspaidsites.blogspot.com/ contains the blogpost below.

Bogart's Google Adsense Experience
Finally, a revenue sharing program that is suitable for my blog, the Google Adsense Project. Last January, I have a Google Adsense account which is my old username, sproextreme, but I really do'nt know how to earn at Adsense on my old blog and username, because I really don't have time for that because I'm focusing on my PTC (paid-to-click) sites, which paid me many times. I really don't know how to attach embed codes or HTML's in my old blog, because I thought that blogs are only for promoting for free. Several months later, old PTCs which I trusted are collapsing and new PTCs have arrived, it's really difficult to start over and over again, registering new PTCs, and then sometimes pay you, but later, collapsed. Then I discovered HYIPs and autosurfs, two of the top ponzi-scheme programs, which I lost big amount of money from LevelInvest, Monemoke, Increase-Investment, BestGoldTraffic and Megalido, it is a game which we only invest what we can afford to lose. HYIPs and autosurfs won't last long, even the trusted ones, no one's gonna earn such profit and runs away with their investor's money.
But I realize right now, with the help of my friend, MJ, who taught me through Yahoo Messenger some of his experience in Adsense, and I am thrilled of his experience and to start create a new Google account, a new Blogger account, and of course, a new Google Adsense account. He taught me everything step-by-step, until I get it. Then, I started posting my blog at manual and auto traffic exchanges, forums, social networking program, free classified ad programs and even share it directly to my friends online and personally. I still continue to earn with my trusted PTCs, money cyclers and manual autosurf, AdProGlobal, which is the only manual surf program with a profit sharing ability, which they earn such stable profit. Then, I add my Adsense ad in my blog just a day ago (Dec. 4, 2008) in my Blogger and Flixya, and I earned $2.80 in my first day. When I woke up, I checked on my Google Adsense account, I was thrilled that my earnings are increased to $13.21! I was shocked of the results because of the strategies I made in my blog. I have never been proud of myself that I earn such kind of big money. I'm really happy of what I've done. Remember, there are thousands of visitors daily in the web, and I think that's the reason why I earn big. I gladly thank my friend MJ, for sharing to me his experience and tips on Google Adsense.

Here is the screenshot of my proof that I really earned $13.21 when I woke up!

Today, I also learned fast about Google Webmaster, that will lead my sitemap to be on Google's list on their search engine and right now, my sitemap is still pending and I hope they would approve it. I am also involved in Smorty, PayPerPost and ReviewMe, but I need to wait at least 2 months before my blog is 90 days old and my blog's sitemap should be on the Webmaster tools and they also require 10-20 posts in my blog for 90-day period.
I'm happy of what i'm doing right now. Blogging is really worth it. We could really do the impossible with our blog. What would our status be without the blog? Blogs are also used to advertise PTC, HYIPs and autosurfs, but why don't we try to make our blog a making money machine!

JUST TRY IT GUYS! MONEY STARTS WITH A BLOG!

Lucy's Final tips for Adsense Newbies

As the summer draws to a close, it is with a heavy heart that I bring you our last Newbie Friday post. I hope you've enjoyed our words of wisdom over the past few months and have found the information useful. Our team will continue to update this blog with the most up-to-date AdSense news and information, so please don't let this be goodbye. If you missed part of the series or want to re-read specific posts, just visit our Newbie label at any time and look for our summer-themed logo. So, from one oldie to many newbies, I'll close out this season with a few final tips for our new publishers.

Go wide and get rich (media)
If you've just recently started with AdSense, there are two format-related tips I would instantly recommend. The first is to enable both text and image ads, which will increase competition among ads to appear in your ad units and may result in higher CPMs. Second, use some of our wider units, such as the 160x600 wide skyscraper, the 300x250 medium rectangle, or the 728x90 leaderboard. There are more rich media (image, flash, video and gadget) ads available in wider ad formats, and wider ad units are the preferred formats for advertisers looking to target your site. Again, increased competition or your ad space will help you maximise your earnings potential.

Use channels
Channels are powerful reporting tools, sometimes overlooked by new publishers. They allow you to view the AdSense performance of a site, a specific page, or even a specific ad unit, which can help you see where your ads are performing best. You can name these channels, give them descriptions, and then define them as ad placements so that they are visible to AdWords advertisers.

The secret
As top AdSense earners will tell you, when it comes to earning with AdSense, the most important thing is a policy-compliant site with good-quality, original content. Such sites attract users, relevant ads and, ultimately, revenue.

Finally, we constantly maintain online resources like our AdSense Help Forum, Newbie Central, and our Known Issues page to share useful information with you. We hope you'll use them to make the most of AdSense.

Google AdSense Case Study

Hometips

HomeTips.com nails down big revenue with Google AdSense.

Home advice website HomeTips.com started out in a backyard clubhouse. Seeking a quiet, woodsy spot for writing home improvement books, author Don Vandervort converted the bottom floor of his sons' two-story treehouse into a small office. He launched HomeTips.com from that office in 1997, essentially as an online portfolio to promote his books.

In the decade since, HomeTips has grown into a large and popular site, thanks to the authority Vandervort has developed and the volume of content he has collected and posted from his more than two dozen books, scores of magazine articles, and many television appearances on ABC and HGTV.

Challenge

Until about three years ago, HomeTips' main source of revenue came from writing, publishing, and licensing books and content to other companies, such as Sunset Books and Microsoft. This business expanded significantly after Vandervort moved to larger offices in Glendale, California, and assembled a team of editors, writers, and artists.

Though his book and content business was thriving, the website's meager revenue came from online sales of guides and reports. When a visitor requested one of these, Vandervort would email it to them and trust them to send three dollars. "At that time, I couldn't find a good system for these small transactions," he recalls. "It was an interesting way for us to stay in touch with our visitors' needs, but a money-losing proposition. We needed advertising for the web business to be viable." But the small editorial team was far too busy working at their core business of creating content to develop an advertising program.

Results

In 2003, Vandervort heard about the Google AdSense program and thought it might be helpful for creating incremental revenue that could work for HomeTips. As he notes, "It took about 20 minutes to set it up - and that 20 minutes completely changed our business."

He started by testing AdSense on a few pages. During the first week, he remembers that AdSense revenue paid for coffee; the second week, it paid for lunches. The model clearly worked, so he began expanding the program across the entire site. Now AdSense revenue pays for all salaries, overhead, and business development.

"Google's ability to deliver targeted ads is remarkable," says Vandervort. "In fact, because the ads are so relevant to the content on any given page, we believe that they are a very useful resource for our visitors. This is evidenced by the fact that, on many of our pages, more than 10 percent of our visitors click through to the advertisers for more information," he adds.

HomeTips now sees more than 1 million online visitors each month. "Solid content is the secret to developing a following," says Vandervort. "If you write expert content with your visitor's needs in mind, the rest will follow."

As the business has grown up, so have the sons whose backyard clubhouse Vandervort first commandeered for an office. Now they bring media experience to the business: Gabriel as a former writer/producer of shows for The History Channel and Christian as a cinematographer and film editor. HomeTips anticipates online video to be the next area of growth. "Nothing can show you how to do something as clearly and adeptly as a video," says Vandervort. "As we see the migration of advertising dollars from television to the web, we expect video content and advertising to do very well."

The HomeTips team constantly tests site design, navigation, and ad optimization to improve both the user experience and the success of advertising. Vandervort points out the fact that channel reporting and Google Analytics are a big help in this effort. "These analytics help us zero in on where we're doing the best job and where we need to do more. As a result, our performance just keeps going up."
